摘要: A method for measuring absorption and velocity of ultrasonic radiation in the frequency range from 5 to 100 Mc by use pulse techniques is described. Results such measurements performed on polycrystalline magnesium aluminum as a function grain size show that coefficient varies linearly with inversely size. The scattering power metal, fidelity which an transmitted shown depend elastic constants single crystals. Criteria are established evaluating transmission cubic hexagonal metals, figures merit many metals given.
