摘要: Abstract We have explored the therapeutic effects of anti-epidermal growth factor receptor monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) 225 and 528 on well established A431 epidermoid carcinoma xenografts, approximately 400 mm 3 (1 cm in diameter) at start treatment. In previous reports we demonstrated that MAbs prevented cell xenografts nude mice when treatment was begun day tumor inoculation. Since MAb therapy tumors unable to retard growth, combination with plus chemotherapeutic agent c/5-diamminedichloroplatinum ( cis -DDP). Additive concentration-dependent growth-inhibitory -DDP were observed cultures cells. Neither intensive mg/ mouse, i.p. 8 after inoculation, twice weekly for 4 weeks) nor a maximally tolerated single dose [150 µg/25 g (6 mg/kg) mouse weight, 8] had significant growth. However, two treatments resulted substantial xenograft inhibition, compared both an untreated control group animals treated modality. When second (150 g) added 10 days, produced striking antitumor effects. At end 1 month disappeared all but one no relapses occurred during 6 months observation. Identical results obtained -DDP. The these studies provide novel approach which may application human malignancies. costs publication this article defrayed part by payment page charges.
