摘要: This article investigates public support for two types of EU‐wide solidarity that currently exist, namely member state (such as transfers to less developed and crisis‐hit countries) transnational granting cross‐border social rights EU citizens). Drawing on data from the 2014 Belgian National Election Study, we find opposition towards European integration – in particular regarding enlargement reduces citizens' willingness a large extent. However, this reveals cannot simply be reduced pro‐versus anti‐integration, nor domestic left–right conflict.
