摘要: Objective:This study’s objective was to determine the efficacy of benefits counseling in a clinical trial. There has been concern that disability payments for psychiatric disorders reduce incentives employment and rehabilitation. Benefits counseling, with education about opportunities work financial implications on receipt benefits, may counter these disincentives.Methods:This single-blind, six-month randomized trial enrolled 84 veterans who had applied service-connected compensation condition. Veterans were randomly assigned either four sessions or control condition involving orientation U.S Department Affairs health care system services.
