摘要: A theoretical and numerical study of tokamak plasma heating by the second harmonic electron cyclotron resonance is presented. It found that extraordinary mode very efficiently absorbed. In contrast to previous calculations, it also ordinary well absorbed at oblique incidence toroidal magnetic field. This finding indicates feasibility devices higher densities than would otherwise be possible.
