摘要: Jet fuels and a jet fuel surrogate have been thermally stressed to simulate the time/temperature history of aircraft handling systems. Surrogate were used develop quantitative measurement techniques assess stability in static tests compare results with flowing tests. A variety experimental including Fourier transform infrared (IR), gas chromatography atom-sensitive atomic-emission detection high-pressure liquid study unstressed fuels. Quantitative qualitative measurements deposits are presented. In general, described here indicate that there is good agreement between concerning quality fuel. However, adequately stability, availability oxygen must be limited. Arbitrarily increasing likely yield which not applicable oxygen-starved stressing processes. Furthermore, contrary expectations, rate at oxidizes shown inversely related formation insoluble products.
