摘要: Background: Few studies have examined theoretically informed constructs related to hepatitis B (HBV) testing, and comparisons across are challenging due lack of uniformity in assessed. The present analysis relationships among Health Behavior Framework factors four Asian American groups advance the development theory-based interventions for HBV testing at-risk populations. Methods: Data were collected from 2007-2010 as part baseline surveys during intervention trials promoting Vietnamese-, Hmong-, Korean- Cambodian-Americans (n = 1,735). assessed included: awareness HBV, knowledge transmission routes, perceived susceptibility, severity, doctor recommendation, stigma infection, efficacy testing. Within each group we associations between our intermediate outcome other constructs, assess concurrent validity model instruments. Results: While absolute levels varied groups, generally consistent. This suggests similarities rather than differences with respect posited drivers HBV-related behavior. Discussion: Our findings indicate that applicable diverse ethnic provide preliminary evidence construct Framework.
