Custom-made prosthesis, com-pared to stock provides better fit the socket, bettercosmeticresults, andlessdiscomforttothepatientinthelongterm.Themain objective this article was describe 3 different alternative andpractical techniques fabricating custom-made ocular prosthesis.Case Report: An impression anophthalmic socket madewith addition cured silicone-based precision ma-terial in all techniques. A master cast prepared duplicatedwith condensation silicone. self-cure acrylic resin polymerizedin silicone model fitted into patient’s socket. The proper iris wasthen inserted base. prosthesis final processedusing orthodontic heat polymerizing clear resin. In other technique, after trying-in process with waxpattern, base fabricated using polymerizingscleral resin. prosthetic from trans-parent contact lens painting watercolor paints andattaching it tissue conditioner. pro-cess made transparent resin. Conclusions: allows esthetic andfunctional results patient comparison prosthesis.Further follow-up is necessary check condition theocular such patients.Key Words: artificial, maxillofacial defect(J Craniofac Surg 2012;23: 1779Y1781)
