摘要: Abstract Plasma levels of β-endorphin plus β-lipotropin were determined in 35 hospital patients with depression and 23 controls before after administration 1 mg dexamethasone (dxm). Dxm suppressed opioid secretion both groups. The the significantly higher than those dxm. All cortisol suppressors. Among post-dxm nonsuppressors ( n =14) suppressors =21). A significant correlation between was found patients. There a association use neuroleptics high levels, but difference not explained by effect any single class drugs. results support concept hypersecretion corticotropin-releasing factor depression.
