Preparation and structural characterization of a novel dicopper(II) complex with a terminal hydroxide: a structural model of an active site in phosphohydrolases

摘要: As an intermediate model for active dinuclear metal sites in phosphohydrolases, a novel dicopper(II) complex with terminal hydroxide has been prepared using new dinucleating ligand intramolecular hydrogen-bonding N–H and sterically hindered tert-butyl groups. It characterized by X-ray structure analysis, magnetic susceptibility, ESR electronic absorption spectroscopies.
