摘要: Restoring function after hand burns plays a major role in the restitution of quality life. Thereby reconstructed pliability grafted areas is utmost importance for good function. The collagen elastin matrix Matriderm was evaluated as dermal substitute treatment severe burns. In series 10 patients, mean age 43 years, TBSA 22.8%, an early debridement and immediate grafting with unmeshed skin graft carried out one-stage procedure. postoperative follow up overall take rate 97% observed. contrast to conventional grafts, color grafts over appeared pale first few days, but 2 weeks no difference After three months, area excellent, (mean VSS 3.2+/-1.2). Full range motion achieved all hands, blisters unstable or hypertrophic scars occurred. has proved be suitable We therefore consider promising
