摘要: The major objective of this study was to examine the hormonal regulation a human oviduct-specific glycoprotein (huOGP) throughout menstrual cycle and in all regions oviduct. Regulation synthesis secretion examined at both protein (Western immunoblots immunocytochemistry) mRNA (Northern slot blots) levels correlated with changes morphological features oviductal epithelial cells cycle. Immunoblot analysis fluid explant culture media from oviduct demonstrated that huOGP is primarily found during follicular stage not present serum, fluid, or uterine endometrium. Moreover, two-dimensional (2-D) showed isoelectric variants observed on 2-D fluorographs are immunologically related. Light microscopic immunocytochemistry localized secretory ampulla isthmic regions, most intense immunoperoxidase staining seen midcycle samples. Using an indirect immunogold technique electron level, specifically granules ampullary nonciliated cells. ultrastructural characteristics these mid late phase suggested elevated synthetic activity. In addition, expression for specimens. Collectively, data indicate tissue-specific, stage-specific product periovulatory support hypothesis may be regulated by fluctuations estrogen progesterone. © 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
