摘要: A preliminary survey of concentrations nonylphenol and octylphenol in rivers estuaries England Wales was undertaken to establish environmental support a biological field programme. The analytes were quantified by GC/MS MID mode after concentration onto C18 solid phase extraction columns. 330 μg/l total found wastewaters from sewage treatment works discharging into the river Aire, up 180 measured at sites on same river. Nonylphenol Aire exceed Daphnia chronic effect levels approach acute toxicity levels. Elsewhere, effluents range <0.2−12 are below Estuarine considerably lower. highest recorded outer Tees estuary (5.2 nonylphenol, 13 octylphenol) Mersey (up 0.32 nonylphenol). Over 30% samples contained <0.1 present only Tees.
