摘要: Constructivist instructional strategies have been shown to be effective with K-16 students. Twenty-five in-service elementary and middle-school science teachers were taught astronomy using a constructivist strategy determine its effectiveness in teacher enhancement. The monitored for changes affective cognitive domains during 15-week special course. Quantitative measurement instruments qualitative data analysis showed that the teacher-participants, who exposed environment, had significantly improved attitudes toward teaching made significant gains knowledge of astronomy. These observations strongly suggest teacher-enhancement programs can create an learning environment increases subject-matter simultaneously improves attitudes, values, interest levels.
