摘要: Abstract 1. There are at least three alpha 1-adrenoceptor subtypes, 1a, 1b and 1d, in human tissues. Using an RNase protection assay, we have now determined the amount of each subtype mRNA prostatic tissue, for both benign hypertrophy (BPH) non-BPH. In all tissue samples examined, predominant was 1a. The total abundance BPH over six times that non-BPH samples. This increase mostly accounted by which almost nine as abundant same between samples, 1d about ratio numbers mRNAs, 1a: 1b: 85:1:14 63:6:31 2. situ hybridization studies showed no significant differences localization mRNAs 1a were clearly detected interstitium prostate, where stained more intensely than positive sites primarily smooth muscle cells. contrast, staining very faint. 3. may be directly related to contraction leads obstruction urinary tract patients. Specifically, our data suggest increased expression responsible prostate.
