摘要: The main objective of this study was to assess the nutritional value four varieties barley (Beecher, Jimah 54, 51 and 58) using commercial broiler local poultry strains. Four experimental diets were formulated, representing different evaluated six replicates eight birds per cage at 21 day age. Cages located in an environmentally controlled room maintained under conditions suitable for age with a photo-period 23 h every 24 h. Diets water offered on ad libitum basis. On fourth after adaptation diets, feed troughs removed from 1 then reintroduced 2 Then killed allow sampling ileal digesta, Meckel’s diverticulum ileal-caecal-colonic injunction. Broiler showed significantly (p<0.001) higher digestibility coefficients digestible content amino acids across all than birds. Out study, Beecher variety had lowest coefficient two bird breeds (p<0.001). estimates 54 highest strains variability can be attributed high fiber levels presence beta-glucan. results suggest that class chickens influenced apparent contents nutrient assessed study.
