摘要: OBJECTIVE. To determine the proportion of children evaluated in an emergency department because crying who have a serious underlying etiology. Secondary outcomes included individual contributions history, physical examination, and laboratory investigations determining diagnosis. PATIENTS AND METHODS. We performed retrospective review all afebrile patients RESULTS. Enrollment criteria were met by 237 patients, representing 0.6% visits.
