摘要: Objective: The objective of this work was to comparatively evaluate the use ethanol (E) with glutaraldehyde (GDA) inhibit calcification porcine pulmonary valvar heterografts (PPVH) implanted in right ventricle outflow tract young sheep. Method: Ten sheep were used, divided into two similar groups: GDA (Control) Group and Ethanol (in which PPVH pre-treated ethanol80). surgery consisted implanting using a cardiopulmonary bypass. Echocardiography performed measure transvalvar gradient macroscopic analyses wall microscopic analysis for performed. amount calcium measured valve cusp at 210 days. Results: quantity 7.98 ± 6.82µg calcium/mg tissue E it 0.31 0.33µg calcium/ mg tissue. In respect maximum 30 days, there no significant difference between groups. At 90, 180 days however, showed greater than Group. heterograft evidenced both groups but more pronounced revealed presence all animals Group, while seen. Conclusion: conclusion ethanol-80 inhibits on cusps during period does not PPVH.
