摘要: The effect of process parameters and aging on the atmospheric air–plasma treatment polyethylene terephtalate (PET) woven fabric were studied using surface analysis methods: wettability/capillarity method as well tapping mode atomic force microscopy imaging. Treatment time plasma power have significant variation in capillary weight, water contact angle topography. Plasma PET with species not only degrades but also causes restructuring speed is lowered increased. An optimal samples, terms increased hydrophilicity both inside fabric, achieved at 60 KJ/m2 a lower 1–2 m/min: decreasing from 81° to 40° weight increasing 55 380 mg. Aging experiments show that, plasma-treated degraded more disordered structure without light, whereas presence light eroded organized observed. Indeed test shows that structure. However, absence although very slow surface, decrease uptake by detected. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci,
