摘要: Previous studies have reported a marked variation in the prevalence of microalbuminuria type 2 diabetic patients ranging from 7 to 47% (1–13). The could arise ethnic/genetic differences susceptibility (3–11) and methodological issues for investigating prevalence, such as small-sized populations (3,12,13); single clinic–based (8,12); use dipstick method instead quantitative determinations (4,5); or only measurement urinary albumin excretion (UAE) (3–13), whereas multiple measurements been recommended years (14). In terms patients, we performed this study with aim specific ethnicity (i.e., Japanese). had large-sized population, nationwide multicenter-based design, high proportion data availability clinical variables UAE. A cross-sectional was conducted that included 29 medical clinics general practitioners) general/university-affiliated hospitals different areas Japan, using same software incorporate patient records, working group. Known Japan Diabetes Clinical Data Management Study Group (15), group consists doctors who volunteered dedicate daily standard work scientific analysis. …
