摘要: Recognition that evolution operates on the same timescale as ecological processes has motivated growing interest in eco-evolutionary dynamics. Nonetheless, generating sufficient data to test predictions about dynamics proved challenging, particularly natural contexts. Here we argue genomic can be integrated into study of ways deepen our understanding interplay between ecology and evolution. Specifically, outline five major questions for which may provide answers. Although alone will not resolve these challenges, integrating a more mechanistic causes phenotypic change, help elucidate mechanisms driving dynamics, lead accurate evolutionary nature.
