摘要: Abstract A multidisciplinary approach to wear simulation investigate rolling-sliding abrasion is described. Wear a stochastic process where fatigue combines with abrasion, adhesion and corrosion. Statistical methods were found be highly suitable for conceiving analysing laboratory of the process. special procedure so-called two-level complex design experiments By way an example, fractional experimental presented showing simulataneous evaluation influence force, temperature, material sliding on rolling mill tool materials. set treatments was conducted via two-disc testing single-scratch testing. The results, including analyses track profilometry metallography are phenomena discussed from statistical, mechanistic microstructural viewpoints. heterogeneous polycrystalline materials exhibit inherently attributes. additional factors causing dispersion in measured rate technical characteristics devices. However, by virtue statistical subsequent analyses, these variations monitored, main effects interactions, characterising abrasive wear, satisfactorily diagnosed.
