摘要: Abstract The weight loss model of aluminium alloy composites with 10 wt.% SiC particles by molten metal mixing method was developed in terms abrasive grain size, reinforcement size used the composite, applied load and sliding distance using Taguchi method. two-body wear behaviour specimen investigated pin-on-disc where samples slid against various grits under different conditions. orthogonal array, signal-to-noise ratio analysis variance were employed to study optimal testing parameters on 50 100 μm particle sizes. experimental results demonstrate that major parameter wear, followed size. load, however, found have a neglecting effect. Moreover, combination could be predicted. predicted composite lie close experimentally observed ones.
