Over last years, there has been an increased focus on role cognitive functioning development and maintenance AN. Adults with show inefficiencies functions such flexibility central coherence. Systematic neuropsychological examinations patients EO-AN are missing. Thirty 30 adolescents AN, well 60 healthy controls (HC) underwent extensive examination. ANOVAs post hoc tests explorative regression analyses were conducted. Patients (mean age = 2.17 ± 1.57 years) showed no significant differences flexibility, inhibition, planning, coherence, visuospatial short- long-term memory or recognition comparison HC age = 11.62 ± 1.29 years). Performance age = 15.93 ± 0.70 years) was not significantly different compared age = 16.20 ± 1.26 years). Explorative revealed a interaction group for (adjusted R 2 = 0.30, F = 17.85, p = 0.013, η p = 0.32). Contrary expectations, current study could confirm presence inefficient processing HC. Nonetheless, expected age-related improvement might be disrupted Longitudinal necessary provide more information about
