摘要: This paper presents a tabletop visualization of relations between geo-positioned locations. We developed an interactive visualization, which enables users to visually explore geospatial network actors. The multitouch tabletop, and the large size surface invite in semi-public spaces. For case study on scientific collaborations institutions, we applied improved several existing techniques for walk-up-and-use system aimed at scientists social setting conference. describe our iterative design approach, two implemented prototypes, lessons learnt from their creation. conducted user evaluation studies on-location demonstrations, provide evidence prototype usability usefulness, its support understanding distribution connectivity network.
