摘要: The purpose of this study was to identify current research trends and clarify the changing direction studies on luxury hotels. Scholarly published between 1994 2014 were examined through content analysis, using such keywords as “luxury hotels”, “deluxe “upscale “high-end “fouror five-star hotels”. contributions then screened focus hotel-centered topics. search revealed 70 qualified scholarly articles. Conceptual limited, with empirical representing a majority hotel researches. researches that identified categorized into nine groups by themes: marketing, human resources (HR), finance, strategic management, technology, service quality, food science, tourism others, HR technology being most popular themes. Analysis methodological in indicated researchers utilized quantitative methods employing various statistical analysis techniques. Overall, is still limited number publications diversity This first comprehensive hotels conducted date. findings may provide future academicians new insights based past well ideas for research. It hoped will contribute development reliable knowledge base from which practitioners inform plans action regarding
