摘要: Objective The majority of adults with low-grade gliomas have seizures. Despite the frequency seizures as initial symptoms and later disease, in relation to natural course received little attention. Methods In this review, we provide an update literature on prognostic impact preoperative discuss tumor- treatment-related factors affecting seizure control at stages disease. Results Seizures occur most frequently disease presentation predict a more favorable outcome. Initial are correlated tumor location possibly indirectly molecular profile tumor. About 50% all patients continue before surgery. Maximal resection, including resection epileptic foci, is valuable strategy for improving control. addition, radiotherapy chemotherapy, single therapies or combination surgery, shown beneficial effects terms reduction. Recurrent after macroscopically complete may be marker accelerated growth. transient stabilization and/or chemotherapy anaplastic transformation. Conclusion Preoperative likely reflect, apart from location, intrinsic properties well. Change individual associated altered behavior. Including clinical parameters recommended future trials further establish value these identify
