摘要: Transmitter receptors are key molecules of signal processing in the brain. They occur at different densities between cortical regions and layers, as well subcortical nuclei. The differences enable mapping these structures based on density a single or multiple each structure. We summarize data selected receptor types classical transmitter systems human cerebral cortex, cerebellum, hippocampus, amygdala, basal ganglia, thalamus. A short review developmental age-related changes is also provided. Finally, we show relevance multireceptor analyses (receptor fingerprints) for characterization functional molecular level.
