Sodium redistribution between oxide phases

摘要: Alkali transport between a glass substrate and an oxide over layer occurs by mechanism of ion exchange the alkali protons. Thermodynamics requires that difference in chemical potential proton be same both phases at equilibrium. The influence composition on ions is discussed. Good agreement predictions direction observed obtained.
