摘要: Abstract The effect of the growth factor from peptone on cellular metabolism was studied. Four hours after addition to cells that had been maintained in minimum medium for 48 h there a wave cell division resulting 50% increase numbers. During this 4 interval no stimulation DNA, RNA and protein synthesis, content remained unchanged; however, gel electrophoretic analyses constituents demonstrated certain species nucleus-associated proteins were selectively synthesized period. In view rapid numbers without relative rate synthesis or compared medium, it would appear blocked at end G2 just prior mitosis delay division. selective soon suggested one more these might be involved stimulating enter mitosis. absence may delayed partially inhibited an elongated G2. Within 1 became fibroblastic-like morphological changes suggest act surface inducing led
