摘要: OBJECTIVE To evaluate the role and feasibility of "1-stop" clinic for management postmenopausal bleeding, based on use transvaginal ultrasound hysteroscopic examination under local anesthesia. STUDY DESIGN A retrospective analysis 308 patients referred to between October 2000 May 2002 was carried out. Endometrial thickness > 4 mm, as measured by scan, considered cutoff limit further investigation hysteroscopy. RESULTS Three hundred eight were seen in 1-stop clinic. Twenty (11.5%) submucous fibroids suspicious lesion 13 (7.5%) histologic confirmed carcinoma. total 216 (70%) totally managed first visit follow-up, hospital admission avoided 258 (83.7%) cases. CONCLUSION The is effective reducing number visits per patient well admissions waiting list.
