摘要: Pirbuterol, 2-hydroxymethyl-3-hydroxy-6-(1-hydroxy-2-tert-butylaminoethyl)pyridine, is a new beta2 adrenergic agonist bronchodilator. Comparison of the relative potencies pirbuterol, salbutamol and isoproterenol as relaxants isolated guinea-pig tracheal muscle positive chronotropic agents in atria indicate that selectivity pirbuterol for pulmonary opposed to cardiac tissue 9 times greater than some 1500 isoproterenol. Pirbuterol effective by oral, intravenous inhalation routes administration.
