摘要: The ability of photosystem (PS) II to catalyze the light-driven oxidation water comes along with its vulnerability oxidative damage, in particular D1 core subunit. Photodamaged PSII undergoes repair a multi-step process involving (i) reversible phosphorylation subunits; (ii) monomerization and lateral migration from grana stroma thylakoids; (iii) partial disassembly PSII; (iv) proteolytic degradation damaged D1; (v) replacement protein new copy; (vi) reassembly monomers back thylakoids for dimerization supercomplex assembly. Here we review current knowledge on cycle.
