摘要: A wide range of conditions can lead to intrinsic contractures the thumb. thorough understanding normal and pathologic anatomy as well disease processes their effect on thumb function is essential in treating these contractures. Because rarely present isolation, a patient-specific approach based functional needs required. Prevention iatrogenic progression predictable regardless etiology health care provider's primary responsibility.
