摘要: Background. Interferon gamma (IFN-γ) is an immune regulatory cytokine that acts through its receptor and plays important role in progression of inflammatory disease such as chronic periodontitis (CP). The purpose this study was to determine the differences distribution IFN-γ (+874A/T) IFN-γR1 (-611A/G, +189T/G, +95C/T) gene polymorphisms among CP healthy individuals investigate relationships between these susceptibility CP. Materials Methods. 310 were enrolled including 210 patients 100 controls. Single nucleotide at analyzed by ARMS-PCR PCR-RFLP methods. Results. significant difference found genotype allele frequency polymorphism genotypes frequencies for similar groups no alleles or genetic variants case control detected. Conclusion. finding showed +874A/T may affect CP, whereas -611A/G, +95C/T not associated with disease.
