摘要: Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is an effective therapeutic intervention for a variety of neoplastic lesions. Many these procedures are conducted with patients under general anesthesia. Although RFA associated infrequent complications, it not without risk. Injury to adjacent normal structures major concern during cancerous Unintended injury adrenal tissue tumors can lead hypertensive crisis, potentially catastrophic complication. Hemodynamic consequences primary or metastatic masses have been reported. We report case crisis (249/140 mm Hg), tachycardia, and ventricular arrhythmia in 82-yr-old woman undergoing renal cell carcinoma the gland. Anesthesiologists should be aware this Direct-acting vasodilators short-acting beta(1)-adrenergic antagonists immediately available, intraarterial blood pressure monitoring seriously considered when providing care mass.
