Agronomic Performance of Rht Alleles in a Spring Wheat Population across a Range of Moisture Levels

摘要: Reduced height alleles at the Rht-Bl and Rht-D1 loci have been widely incorporated into wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars with intent of improving partitioning assimilates to grain. Although generally effective increasing yield in high environments, their effects under heat drought stress variable. We undertook this study evaluate b Rht-D1b dwarfing a recombinant inbred line (RIL) spring population range soil moisture conditions. Rht-B1 genotypes 140 RILs derived from cross between 'Kauz' MTRWA116 were determined by polymerase chain reactions (PCR). The was evaluated for agronomic traits four Colorado environments fully irrigated, partially rainfed conditions 2001 2002. Lines both significantly (P 0.05). Desirable values most occurred across relatively wide plant heights, best performing lines either shorter tall class or taller semidwarf classes.
