摘要: This large-scale study into the recognition, enhancement and development of sessional teaching in higher education builds on Australian Universities Teaching Committee Report (2003a) Training, Support and Management Sessional Staff. The aim current Project was to identify analyse current national practice refocus attention issues surrounding teachers university sector. The had three objectives: establish extent contribution that make to higher education; good examples for dissemination; consider the possible developments institutional sector-wide improvements quality of sessional teaching. Sixteen universities were involved Project, representing ‘Group 8’ (Go8), regional, Technology Network (ATN), transnational multi-campus institutions all states territories. At each participating universities, number typology teachers was audited across institution sixty interviews conducted with full range participants, from sessional executive staff. the contribution higher to identify dissemination; and possible and sector-wide sessional teaching.
