摘要: Octopamine increases the cycle frequency of pyloric rhythm in crab Cancer borealis by acting at multiple sites within stomatogastric nervous system. The junction between nerve (stn) and superior esophageal (son) shows synaptic structures. When applied only to stn-son junction, octopamine induced action potentials axons modulatory commissural neuron 5 (MCN5) that project from ganglia ganglion (STG). activation MCN5 neurons was correlated with an increase frequency. Additionally, had direct effects on STG, including dilator neurons, frequency, a change phase relationships neurons. Thus, same modulator can influence sites, identified STG. These data demonstrate axonal propagation may be influenced locally neuromodulators receptors, therefore altering conduction information different command integrating centers.
