Antioxidant activities and phenolic profile of six Moroccan selected herbs.

摘要: The present work evaluated the antioxidant capacity of six plants commonly used in traditional Moroccan medicine. was estimated by DPPH test, ferrous ion chelating activity and ABTS test. As results, highest activities were found Mentha suaveolens, Salvia officinalis viridis. Different species showed significant differences their total phenolic content (TPC). level phenolics lowest Pelargonium roseum. Linear correlation between TPC, especially non-flavonoid (NFC) activity. Qualitative quantitative analyzes major reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) also performed.
