摘要: Abstract The oil-producing regions of Nigeria, otherwise known as the Niger Delta, have suffered tremendously from impacts hydrocarbon exploration. These environmental issues resulted in poverty amongst inhabitants agricultural land that represents a means livelihood has been contaminated. Water bodies well biodiversity also felt impact continuous crude oil prospecting within area. Gas-flaring events Delta represent highest Africa, further compounding problem degradation region. Thus, there is popular fear climate change and global warming may be highly near future if current emission rate continue. Furthermore, puncturing ground result mixed target come back to haunt host communities. This because groundwater aquifers are exposed subsequently polluted, which eventually water scarcity. paper reveals different seismic activities.
