Expression of p53 and 17p allelic loss in colorectal carcinoma.

摘要: Mutations in the p53 gene are most common genetic changes cancer thus far. Many mutations result a protein product having prolonged half-life compared to wild-type p53. The mutant is frequently detectable immunohistochemically, whereas present normal cells not. We examined 90 colorectal carcinomas for increased expression of using 3 specific monoclonal antibodies, PAb1801, PAb421, and PAb240.
