摘要: A classification and review of the methodology involved in determination serum cholesterol for human (or animal) studies are presented. The purpose both is to enable selection a technique appropriate assay intended with reasonable understanding its advantages, disadvantages limitations. various methods discussed include direct reaction systems, partial isolation systems complete as well screening, reference definitive procedures. interferences that could occur considered, especially those caused by hemoglobin, turbidity lipidemia, bilirubin, optical aberrations chemical reactants. instrumental used determine or substitute determinand such hydrogen peroxide discussed, including spectrophotometry, electrochemistry densitometry electrophoretically separated proteins.
