Effect of food on the serum concentration profile of enteric-coated valproic acid.

摘要: We evaluated the effect of food on serum concentration profile enteric-coated divalproex sodium (EC-VPA) in six adult volunteers following a single dose and patients during chronic-dose administration. The results demonstrated significant delay but no decrease extent EC-VPA absorption administration with food. To monitor concentrations receiving EC-VPA, consideration sampling time relation both to meals is required.
