摘要: Spatial contrast sensitivity and visual evoked potential studies reveal defects not tapped by acuity measurements in patients suffering from maculopathy optic neuropathy. Differential diagnosis can be aided, since the loss is of high frequency type, glaucomatous neuropathy it shows up best as a dynamic, low spatial detection, demyelinating may occur only for selected orientations and/or pattern.
