Joint deconvolution of building and downhole seismic recordings: an application to three test cases

摘要: In this study, the joint deconvolution is applied to recordings of three test cases located in cities Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Istanbul, Turkey, and Mexico City, Mexico. Each case consists a building equipped with sensors nearby borehole installation order investigate different coupling (impedance contrasts) between soil by analyzing wave propagation through building-soil-layers, hence resolving soil–structure-interactions. The installations considering dynamic characteristics buildings soil, thus, building-soil couplings, are investigated. seismic input (i.e., part field containing only up-going waves after removing all down-going waves) that associated radiated back from separated using constrained deconvolution. energy being has been estimated for cases. values obtained show even at great depths (and therefore distances), amount significant (e.g., Bishkek case, 145 m depth, 10% real expected be emitted building; Istanbul 50 value also 10–15% while City 45 it 25–65% energy). Such results confirm active role shaping field.
