Evaluation of release surgery for idiopathic carpal tunnel syndrome: endoscopic versus open method.

摘要: To evaluate the usefulness of endoscopic carpal tunnel release (ECTR) on patients with idiopathic syndrome, multiple aspects results 44 hands (42 patients) treated by ECTR and 40 (40 open (OCTR) were compared. Results compared those OCTR to study not only recovery rate surgical safety but also cost-effectiveness. Although was much less invasive than OCTR, median nerve palsy in group as good that one month after surgery. Three months surgery, had improved almost same extent OCTR. There no major complications both groups. The cost time needed for treatment 1/3 reduced time, which is beneficial doctors patients.
