摘要: BACKGROUND HIV-infected individuals have an increased risk of avascular bone necrosis (AVN). Antiretroviral therapy (ART) and particularly protease inhibitors (PI) been implicated as a factor. We aimed to study the associations ART with occurrence AVN among Swiss HIV Cohort Study participants (SHCS). METHODS We used incidence density sampling perform case control within (SHCS) comparing prospectively collected cases controls by conditional logistic regression analysis. To evaluate effect ART, multivariable models were adjusted for transmission group, age, alcohol consumption, use corticosteroids, CD4 nadir, maximum viral load, pancreatitis. RESULTS We compared 74 145 controls. Associations shown heterosexual acquisition (odds ratio [OR], 3.4; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.1-10), consumption (OR, 2.7; CI, 1.3-5.7), hyperlipidemia 3.6; 1.4-9.6). After adding substances base model, there was evidence association treatment tenofovir (TDF) >1 year 4.4; 1.4-14) AVN. Neither exposure specific frequently prescribed combinations or drug classes nor cumulative showed any AVN. CONCLUSIONS In HIV-infected population, combination factors such acquisition, moderate severe intake, seem contribute does not be relevant factor The prolonged TDF needs confirmed.
