The outcome of sperm retrieval and intracytoplasmic sperm injection in patients with obstructive azoospermia: impact of previous tuberculous epididymitis.

摘要: Purpose:Our purpose was to investigate the influence of previous tuberculous epididymitis in patients with obstructive azoospermia on outcome sperm retrieval and intracytoplasmic injection (ICSI). Methods:Eighty-eight cycles ICSI were performed 44 azoospermia; 16 (7 patients) 72 (37 nontuberculous azoospermia. Results:The rates fertilization embryo cleavage comparable, there no significant difference clinical pregnancy rate per fresh transfer between two groups. The implantation miscarriage also comparable. Conclusions:Embryo quality comparable both patients. Although a preponderance testicular used group, our results suggest that does not affect ICSI.
