摘要: Accidental burn injuries result in significant economic and public health burdens. The inappropriate use of gasoline other accelerants has been identified many studies as dangerous, yet it remains an all-too-common practice resulting a number annually. Florida's unique climate permits outdoor recreational maintenance activities, such burning yard debris trash, throughout the year. Additionally, hurricane season, lasting from June 1 though November 30, produces large amounts waste its wake. purpose this study was to examine seasonal pattern occurrence develop understanding factors related accelerant-related with goal prevention. This nonexperimental research involved retrospective quantitative observational data stored National Trauma Registry database. All patients admitted Tampa General Regional Burn Center inpatients between January 1, 2001, December 31, 2005, were included. As previous on accelerant injuries, young men much more likely suffer type injury. season correlates increased which differs somewhat variations regions. size severity varies significantly, does length hospital stay.
